Guest
I can truly empathise with you. I had tendonitis a few weeks ago. It was whilst i was building the hen run, and doing lots of hammering, sawing, digging etc. The pain was unbelievable. I honestly thought and was convinced i must have cracked a bone in my wrist, as i felt a clicking sensation when turning the wrist and it was very swollen. I've read that it can take a while to heal, but thankfully mine didn't take too long. I had to immobilise the wrist with a splint and i mixed up some arometherapy oils in a cream and used that. Hope you feel better soon.

Groovychook
Poor you... I've had tendonitis in my right wrist from stone walling & I know how much it hurts!! I couldn't even pick up an empty cup! Make sure you rest it properly & look after it in the future- I seem to be prone to it now
Lesley
Ouch! - I hope it soon clears up. You'll have to practise using the mouse left handed but use the second finger, not index finger, then you won't be right clicking. I use the mouse left handed and had to use it that way when using a communal computer at work years ago - people were very upset if I changed the buttons over and then forgot to change it back
Seagazer
You have my full sympathy. I get it fairly often in my right shoulder. I feel such a wimp when I have it and shed tears frequently. My mum bless her comes and helps out with the ironing etc when it happens. My left elbow seems to be going the same way (I blame Cookie - she pull too much on the lead). Rest and anti inflammatory tablets is the only way to go but it can take an awful long time.
Guest
I did see the mention of Ralgex, however, for inflammatory conditions cold is better. The one i used was called 'Deep Freeze cold spray' For me it gave good pain relief.
Seagazer
I use Deep Freeze cold gel on mine when it gets bad. My ES has just come home and his knee has gone. He had trouble with his anterior cruciate ligament when he was a little lad (about 6) even though he never really played football. We've strapped it up but I had forgotten about the gel. Might try that on him. Apparently he's the same as me and has too flexible ligaments and tendons.

Mrs Frugal
Oh dear, you have my sympathy too. I had (and still get from time to time) tendonitis in my shoulder and had to have physiotherapy on it as it got so bad but it does get better if you rest it and don't keep moving it to see if it still hurts ! Hope you feel more comfortable soon.
