Flora our wandering sussex star hasn't returned from her wanderings this evening. I heard her in the woodland on the other side of the fence but she usually return ok. not tonight. I've been out a number of times to check but she hasn't returned. i've shut up the others so they are safe. Will wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Oh no do you think she could be roosting in a tree out of the way? I'll have everything crossed that she returns safe and well in the morning...............

I went out to look first thing this morning but there was no sign of her. I can usually hear her very well before I see her. It was so quiet. I had to rush off to work but when I get back later I'll do a thorough search. i wanted to phone in and say I needed the day off to find her but I don't think my head teacher would have approved plus seven other staff are off at the moment.

 

I'm very worried now. Will report later.

Well here we are it's Wednesday Flora has been missing since Monday. After a thorough search I wondered if she had been fox lunch. However as I was throwing around corn I heard her familiar bokking on the other side of the fence!!! Little minx!!!

 

I had to climb over the steep wall and rescue her!!! Got myself covered in the poo on the wall and she is finally home!!!
