Charlottechicken
I've coveted some of those pretty glass wasp/fly traps for a while now and today was thrilled to see them in Poundland (for a pound, obviously ), so bought a couple. They have them in yellow, blue, pink and purple. They have a sturdy hanging wire and a cork in the top to stop the wasps going straight out! Alarmingly, they are being sold as bee traps, as that's what it says on the label Still a bargain though
chickenanne
They wouldn't work as bee traps, as bees only like pollen and nectar..... that's what they don't buzz about constantly when you're trying to have picnic /etc. All the same, I cannot believe that shops think it appropriate to sell things as trap bees: many species of bumbles are on the criticaly endangered lists in the UK.
