Tiggy
he's still with us today, Drs don't hold out to much hope for him, they told the family yesterday that they are 90% sure that he will not survive for much longer, he has been so pooly, and unconscious now for nearly 2 weeks. I'm sad that I never got to meet him but cannot imagine how his wife and children must be feeling. At least my Mom got to see him several times before he became ill they had 60 years of catching up to do. its hard but sometimes nature knows best

Tiggy
a little bit of good news at last, uncle is off the ventilator and holding his own in high dependancy unit, he is conscious although very frail, goodness knows how he has managed to survive all this. That generation are made of much tougher stuff than us I'm sure, fingers crossed for him and his family, I may get to meet him yet.

littleleicesterfox
some of you may remember that I recently traced my Moms brother and his family and have been meeting with my new cousin, I had not yet met my aunt & uncle, last night he was taken into hospital with sever bleeding from his bowel. He is in ITU having had a huge op lasting 7 hours, my cousin rang me to let me know. Quite a shock, we were taking things slowly because he is a very shy man, I so hope he is OK, he & my Mom have a lot of catching up to do Good luck to him. My hubby was rushed into hospital yesterday as well so I know how you're feeling at the moment and ((hugs)). Thinking of you x

Tiggy
I cannot believe how he has recovered, my cousin rang last night, uncle is now on an ordinary ward and recovering well, my mother is her usual self always has to be centre of attention, apparently has been told off by one of my cousins for her behaviour so hasn't been to the hospital for a week & has left drunken messages on my aunts phone and there was me thinking she only did that to me
