I've had a dose of swine flu.....ahem....the cold this week and was feeling tired after I put Anna out to school this morning. Thought I'd go back to bed for an hour.....and woke up just before one . Still sitting here feeling dazed and confused

..... thanks, it's just a mild cold, I was just surprised at how long I slept (I'm a 6 hour a night sleeper). It's left me still feeling groggy.......off to do a bit of ironing to ease the guilt

I did the same this morning up at 7am back in bed at 9.15am but I was back up again at 11am.

 

I have also had a cold with a really sore throat and cough. I spent last week painting the kitchen working through it and I have been really busy this week so far. I felt shattered this morning so I though ok me time back to bed and I felt better for it. Too often we don't listen to our bodies when they are trying to tell us something. this comes from me who is always lecturing my children about getting enough sleep

Hope you feel better soon. You're not missing anything - it's raining! This morning after shopping with mum I kissed her goodbye. She said we shouldn't be doing this because of swine flu - so I went "Achooooo". You know what? She slapped me!

I'm lo-carbing again, and it's one of my fave lo-carb dinners - steak mince with a little onion, mushrooms and a beef stock cube, pressed into a lasagne dish, then a mix of eggs, cream and cheese poured over the top, baked in the oven
