We call today Star Wars day too! We went out for a family trip to the Space Centre in Leicester this morning and were absolutely delighted to see a whole host of people in Star Wars costume from some effects company! The storm troopers are really intimidating up close :lol::lol: . We're having a Star Wars DVD watching evening now as we are all huge fans!

I met Darth Vader (aka Dave Prowse (who was also the green cross code man)) at an exhibition at the NEC on Thursday.

Sent my OH a text to tell him and he sent back "well it is star wars day on monday" - have to admit I didn't get it :oops:

He had to explain it to me when I got home :oops::oops::roll:

they have days for everything now - last week apparently they had a water awareness day :clap: I have visions of people all over UK turning on taps and saying "what is it :doh: " what next I ask - have they had Chicken awareness day yet - u lucky lot with your chucks saying " i think we have chickens :doh: "
