redhotchick
I know a few people have mentioned that copper tape is useful for repelling slugs. Homebase have a 4m roll of adhesive copper tape reduced to £2.50. Hope someone finds this helpful. Pesky slugs!

The Dogmother
I tried that last year and it seemed to work. The adhesive isn't brilliant though.
Charlottechicken
I tried that last year and it seemed to work. The adhesive isn't brilliant though. Same here, I had to put some on the girls' new aluminium feeder, there was always a large slug gobbling up the pellets It appears to have deterred them anyway. Just make sure whatever you are sticking it to is clean and dry, as Claret is quite correct, the sticky ain't good quality
Ain't Nobody Here
OH found a massive slug in the kitchen this morning. On the ceiling . It had come aboard on the glug, I suspect .

Christian
Have used the tape for a couple of years and find it quite good, if expensive. Slugs got into my mini greenhouse yesterday and have munched on a chilli plant Pot is now taped

chooklady
I just put 'adhesive copper tape' in the search and it came up with a good selection and I just picked one. Can't tell you the actual seller ATM but the tape arrived yesterday and I have already put some around my pots with hostas in.
sunshinesupernova
not adhesive copper tape - but I recently read that using bran as a mulch kills slugs. They love it ! They eat it, it swells up and they die. Double purpose, mulch and slug killer. Costs about £6 a 20kg sack from horse feed stores
