wombatally
Well they are 6 weeks already so any guesses as to their sex greatly appreciated... Two Light Sussex - they look the same to me in terms of size etc so I hope they're girls... Blue Cochin - I'm pretty sure is a he, it is enormous... White Cochin - much smaller than the blue - a girl maybe? White Orpingtons, one is bigger than the other... Two Siver Grey Dorkings - Am fairly sure they are lads... And finally a SL Wyandotte Bantie... Let the guessing begin! I'll post my other baby photos in another thread!

feemcg
Not sure....a blue something . What kind of comb does it have. This is a SL Dotte
TAJ
By 6 weeks a female silver-grey Dorking will have a salmon coloured chest - the guys do not go this colour. Tracy
wombatally
Aye Fee, I see where you're coming from - it's not a SLW after all Cheers Taj, they are boys then.
MitchB
Your Silver Dorkings are the spitting image of my Archie he is 9 weeks old! Archie got a bit of a shock today mistakenly got into big girls enclosure and was attacked by my seven females, hubby rescued him seems ok bruised ego I think, steered a wide berth since though. Griffin
By the time my Light Sussex chicks were 6 weeks it was obvious that I had one boy and two girls because his comb was bigger. So I'd say yours are both girls, there's not enough comb for boys. Boy Blue Cochin Girl White Cochin Of the Orps I'd guess the top one is a girl but it's hard to say about the other one. Boy Dorkings. Don't know about the last one either!
Egluntyne
Here's my guess Light Sussex - both girls. They are a week older than my Anton Du Beake and he has much more headgear. Blue cochin - boy White cochin - girl 1st Orp - boy 2nd Orp - girl Dorkings - both boys. Bantie - Dunno....too much glare on the pic to see the comb properly. ?girl. wombatally
Thanks everyone, I really hope that you are all right about the sussex being girls! I might even have to keep the cochin boy as he's gorgeous! Will have to keep him well away from my lovely little pekin biy though, they're almost the same size already. I just looked back over the pics and real;ised what a mess it looks - it really isn't that bad but we've got them in some old runs in the barn temporarily until they can go out into a real house in the next few weeks!
