i hope someone can help but joey my puppy i've have for 2 days was just in the garden and i think he ate a small peice of dried hen poo will he be okay or am i being worried

Laufie (my dog) always does it! He will be fine! Laufie always comes and gives me huge sloppy kisses though - watch out for those!! (and stinky poo breath!)

My dog eats truckloads of hen poo, they love it and it doesnt do them any harm.

when little Suzi was a tiny pup she did the same and I got worried becuase she wasn't innoculated at the time, the vet said there is nothing to worry about.

 

He'll eat more than that through his life..

He'll be fine . A friend of mine had a pup that ate other dogs' poo (and its own) . So be grateful .

SO glad to know that I am not the only owner who has disgusting doggies. My two will scoff their way through everything they find on their early morning walk:

We usually start with horse dung, then progress to a soupcon of cow pat and finally enjoy foraging on my farmyard for any hidden donkey poo and chicken droppings.

 

Never any harm done, apart from bad breath and in the case of my Airedale terrier, a VERY nasty beard!

My dog spends many happy hours hoovering up bunny currants and he's also partial to a cat truffle or two!

 

They are, by nature, scavengers unfortunately.
