So MANY more rompers. I can't post pictures of them all, but I am going to post piccies of the ones I made in Ikea fabrics and a couple of other favourites. Why did "Ooops, word censored!"ody tell me Ikea fabrics were so brilliant? And really quite cheap for the lovely printed cottons!

Just a word of caution before you make any more - are you making them in various sizes? In my experience, babies grow out of their nicest clothes before they are even worn!

Mine did that Snowy - she never fitted into any newborn clothes

I haven't made very many in newborn, two or three I think. I've made half a dozen in 0-3 months and half a dozen in 3-6 months. I'm going to make a few more in each of those sizes and then move onto 6-9 months. As I pointed out to OH, if she's a sicky baby, she might well wear six in a day!

You can always put a cardi over the top if it gets chilly.

They are fab - I love babies in "real clothes" - cannot stand seeing them during the day in Babygrow after a couple of weeks or so.

I've had a couple of days off sewing stuff, and have been organising housey moving things, but am going to try out my other patterns over the weekend as OH is away I'm thinking of looking for some popper tape as well, as the metal poppers do seem a little chunky for baby clothes, and they are reasonably expensive. And let's face it, it's an excuse to go haberdashery shopping

 

I have been given a couple of cute as the DICKENS cardis already, and am going to keep an eye out for more. Monsoon has some lovely little things.
