chick wiggle
oh sorry laura, all I can say is 'BROTHERS'
Scramble
That behaviour is disgusting, personally (I know this sounds childish) I wouldn't speak to him until he had apologised, and I would NOT pay for the damage to his stupid car. And if he tried to hurt the chickens again I'd report him Maybe that's a bit extreme though, but I am very fierce about looking after my girls Hope you're feeling better ((hugs)) x
Redwing
If he is old enough to have a car he is old enough to know better than to throw stones at the chickens Also unless the hens had his car keys I presume he left the car door open which is his own fault surely? I don't blame you for being angry
jackiepoppies
Oh Laura You do have your ups and downs don't you I am not condoning any abhorrent behaviour on any ones part, but it will pass.....honest Just to diversify a little........do you keep a diary If not, then you should print off your postings. They will make wonderful reading for your children and grand-children in years to come. There have been many times when you have shown maturity and great compassion and others when you just need a sounding board and a great big hug \This is one of them......HUGE HUGS Jx
Ain't Nobody Here
Couldn't have put it better than Jackiepoppies, Laura. I'm so sorry . (Am I right in thinking it was you who posted about problems with your brother a while back? Doesn't sound like much has changed .)
Woodcat
hey i can totally understand your fury tbh if anyone in my house had ever even threatened to do that i don't think there would be enough of them left to fill a shoe box. It wouldn't matter if the chickens had completly distroyed his car he still wouldn't have the right to threaten that let alone carry it out. Can i suggest that you also make clear that if any of your chickens are hurt by him in anyway he will pay all vet bills. (and if that doesn't work if he hurts them slashing his tires(i'm joking just incase anyone takes that seriousely)) but I'm glad that your hen is ok and i think you've been quite restrained and dignified in the whole proceding and i really hope it gets sorted
The Dogmother
If he is old enough to have a car he is old enough to know better than to throw stones at the chickens Also unless the hens had his car keys I presume he left the car door open which is his own fault surely? I don't blame you for being angry Exactly!
clootie
He needs a girlfriend !! I know you'll say he needs to change his ways as no-one would be attracted to a character like that but as with all brothers, he's probably a totally different person when he's out of the house. Krysia
how awful! you mentioned letting his tyres down just this is good as it doesn't actually cause any damage but would really annoy him! As others have said I wouldn't normally condone revenge but if you do find yourself in this situation make sure you do 2 as he will only have spare! Sorry did I just type that! I thought I was just thinking it!
katieadams
What a child your brother is! The whole story sounds like you're talking about a 10 year old not someone 'grown up' enough to have a car!! I sympathise, my brother and I hardly talk these days - and he's 37 and I'm 30 so it never did pass for us At least if he is old enough to drive he must be nearly old enough to move out
