Friendship Braclet

Recommended Posts

Yesterday i went over to Cookie Monsters to have a bit of a crafty day :D

I made (witht the guidance of CM  ) a friendship braclet for my nine year old niece who lives in New Zeland.

I am really happy with it :D I used pink cord plaited with cerise ribbon rather than silver chain as I felt it was more suited to her age.

I am currently scouring Ebay for beads etc as I want to make one or seven for myself :D

Cookie made a bracket and keyring, they are SO pretty and she also made them much quicker than i made mine

We also cut the fabric for her new cushions.....I wonder if she has sewn them yet

**Sorry about size of pic.....working on it!

No I am not having that!!!! :shameonu::shameonu::shameonu: I didn't do anything to help, this was all Emma's work, I might have just bent a few bars for her, thats it! but I didn't choose, design or plait it, that is all her work and it's wonderful!

plastic beads are very cheap Emma, I only use glass myself but if I see some I will point ya in the right direction as always.

no the cushions are still sitting here  fancy another craft day??:lol:

I used to make the knotted friendship bracelets when I was at school :D , they seem to have come back in fashion again, all the little darlings that I teach seem to wear them :D

that picture doesn't do that bracelet justice thought Em! ;) you cant see all the little 'danglies' clearly.

mind you I am no one to talk about pictures...:lol:

I know Lyns.......I took a load of pics and that was the best one....I will be reading my camera manual later to see what I am doing wrong as I though 9MP was meant to be good!
