Thanks for all your encouragement re assembling my CUBE.

Did it in the drizzle in 1 1/2 hours!!

Had the help of my god daughter who chose to forgo her A level revision!!!!

Went to the Devonshire Traditional Breeds Centre today - wonderful place didnt make me feel stupid for wanting just 4 pretty looking hens!!

One place on the Omlet list implied that I had more money than sense if I had brough one of the Omlet hen houses!!!!

It's quite rude of them to say that to a potential customer aswell

I don;t need to preach here about the fabulousness of omlet products! My 1st argument is always but I don't need to treat it every year and if I treat wood with 2 -3 coats what do I do with my chickens at the time. plus all the usual stuff about the red mite cleaning looking cool the list as you know goes on forever

yes it baffles me as to why people complain about omlet ,....it means more customers buying chickens so they should all be happy that Omlet has increased chicken keeping for a lot of folks!

Yes 4 wonderful girls

A Speckled Sussex, Buff Favourelle and Partridge and Black Orphington. All 10 weks old very healthy bright little birds

If Omlet took them off the list it would just make it more difficult for people to find the chickens they want so I think it's better to just either argue the good points or not tell them. After all everyone can have an opinion, even if it's the wrong one.

That bit about the breeder just makes me laugh, because today at the Bath and West show there was another stand selling the 'Keeping Chickens' book by Johannes, which also sold wooden coops...now if any of you have this book you'll definitely know that it coverts the eglu!!!
