chelsea
Yet another gloomy, cloudy rainy day today here. Where has the sun gone Didnt let it stop me being very productive, hubby has gone to the allotment (and taken the devil dog we are dog-sitting with him) and left me and Bracken the GSD to ourselves. Cleaned house Spring cleaned the touring caravan inside. Dismantled the eglu, cleaned thoroughly, replaced all the hemcore in the run. laid a new layer or bark chips approaching the run...laid decking squares on top. Power washed the poo off the decking and slabs I was in a right state when I finished - chicken poo and mud all over showered. Stripped bed and washed/dried sheets. home-made curry planned for tea and xfactor. All snuggled up indoors now in me totes-toasties
Mel (& Paul)
Well done you! We have a very grey day here in deepest darkest - but no rain yet! I have also been proactive like you! - cooked loads of lasagnes, chillis, sausage casseroles, chicken caseroles and lamb and bean hot pots for the freezer, cleaned the house, done the ironing, walked the dogs and talked to the chickens *phew* I'm worn out ! (I also have my tote socks on - all the best people wear them you know )

chelsea
You dont think that gale force winds would lift/move the eglu do you?? I couldnt sleep for thinking my girls would be floating past my bedroom window like the cow in the tornado in The Wizard of Oz

pepe
Don't want to scare you Chelsea, but my rablu started to move the other day luckily it was day light so I put small paving slabs around the edge. When I got up this morning it had moved again only slightly, but it is on the patio, so on grass might be better.I think the rain covers acted as a sail So I say roll on white frosty mornings
