Recommended Posts

honestly - men they are demons with a strimmer - rename the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and call it "the onion strimmer massacre". With my OH when we moved her he pruned the apple tree in the SPRING - we had 6 apples and its a biggish tree. Last yr I wouldnt let him near it till auutmn and we had a glut and looks the same this year. as i say give him summat electrical and hes a demon

'Tis a "man thing" and goes hand in hand with taking over the remote control and the barbeque. FIL upsets the dragon-in-law by running over the pinks with the mower. OH has inherited those genes and mowed: penstemons, geums, lavender, hebes, I could go on, but I think we are limited to how many letters can be used.

Confused me too nochucksyet, went to sleep all cosy in the nesting box and woke up in the vegetable patch! Anyhow, now that I'm amongst experts, what do you think is the best thing to do with my onions? Should I lift them and bin them now and use the space to plant something else? Or is there a chance that they will survive? Most of them have about an inch of green growth left at the top. I am new to this and was ever so proud of my onions, totally devastated with the massacre that occured last night!
