*mummy_hen*
Finally....a little bit of good news. Our vet rang this this evening to say he had just received the results from the tests done on the tumours found in our beautiful girls. It was definately cancer.....but not the sort caused by a virus and therefore my one remaining girl will not have the virus It makes me feel even more unlucky that i lost all 3 of them to it and so close together but as least that is a little positive out of the whole situation. Fingers crossed Florence will now have a long and happy life and at least now if we did decide we wanted to intergrate more chickens then we could without any risks! peggotty
Pleased to hear the good news, it must make you feel better to know you haven't got some killer virus - just extremely bad luck. Budgies
That's wonderful news, although I'm really sorry that you had to lose your girls in such a short space of time still. Does this mean that Florence and her ducky friends might be able to get chickeny pals too?!

*mummy_hen*
You make me laugh on here! I will definately get some new girls in the future, but at the moment i feel like it is too soon. I think we all need to adjust to our new routine, etc. before introducing more to the flock. I think when the time comes, it will be time to invest in the though!! Don't worry....you lot will be the first to know
