I am going to have to go out in the monsoon to put the jay cloths down and give the eglu a quick clean in readiness.

Still 5 eggs under, last time I candled there were 4 definate goers thsat I could see through at all and one that was cleasr, I decided to leave that one under as well as it ad no blood ring or anythiong.

I am crossing everything.

Do they hatch about the bsame time of day as you set them?

I am trying to distrub hufflepuff as little as possible, she is doing such a great job.

Sob Eglutine youre going to be a step mum soon. Hope I know how to put photos up ion my new computer.

yep, cant wait to see howe tiny they are. my daughters are so excited. it resally has turned into monsoon season here though so I am going to get very wet in a minute. wonder if I will get a lot done tommorow, actually yd is in nursery in the afternoon so I can just sit in the garden and wait.

I think there are 2 silkies, 2 wyandotte and a pekin left, but I couldnt be too sure, lost track of which went missing

In was going to pop on and say no news yet, but I was just having a look at the eggs and one cheeped at me, I literally danced around the garden. shouldnt be too long now then.

OK still nothing visible, b ut 4 out of 5 eggs cheeped at me and they were making tapping noises. It cant be long now surely. I am a bit over excited.

Ooooo all this talk of chicks is making me get just a weeeeee tiddly bit broody...I wonder where the incubator is that was bought for school a few years ago..........the children are even making "shall we hatch" kind of comments
