ali-s
Its been dark here since 4.30pm In a few weeks it will be dark just after 3pm and not light in the mornings until at least 9am I don't know what time my girls went to roost today as I was still at work. I've got to walk the dogs soon, something I hate doing in the dark. I live in a relatively safe place but still get an uneasy feeling when I am out after dark

Martin B
For many of us it's our first winter keeping chickens so we all seem a bit nervy. I'm sure it'll be fine but for those who go to school or work we will hardly see our chooks. I also get a bit nervy walking down the street in Alcester, we've only had one murder in the last 20 years but it's very scary particuarly as the murder was outside my house. I hope that hasn't scared off anyone who may visit my lovely town in the glorious Warwickshire countryside.
