teri Posted June 15, 2009 Share Posted June 15, 2009 dead pleased with myself cause i now know how to put photos on i've got quite a few so here goes! one day old, either a chaucer bantom or a frizzle??? this one is called charlie this one has been named grandad roy by my son in honour of his grandad who has cancer proud mum Beauty with chicks two days old racing stripes, grandad roy and charlie 1 week old feeding time! all seven together! the litte black one is called number seven cause it came a day after all the rest on the 4th june! last one for now! would love some feed back! what do you think? cheers x Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

teri Posted June 15, 2009 Author Share Posted June 15, 2009 thanks beauty is actually a replacement for my daughter Lucy's first chicken. unfortunatley she was killed accidentally by my dog after my eldest let him out by mistake. (he's a staffie called chunk) Lucy was out at the time so i managed to find a replacement before she found out!! luckily there's a farm round the corner from where i live and he had one which although not the same, she is close enough for lucy not to notice! and she has made a fab mum so it turned out ok in the end! Although i marked the eggs before putting them with beauty my marks got rubbed off!!! two are definatley frizzles as they are already beginning to frizz up, not sure about the others yet, mainly because I dont know what chaucer bantams look like (can't fine them anywhere on the net???) and I have descovered not all frizzles frizz up! it doesn't matter though hoping to keep them all...depending on how many boys i get! thanks fr your reply new to this!
