her mum and dad had popped out for 20 minutes (knew the party was going on ) the people up the road (about 5 doors up ) decided we were too noisy

A friends brother had a party a few years ago and half of Sutton must have turned up! A few people were invited who invited a few people who invited a few people ....

A few things got taken + the carpets were stained, but the funniest thing was, his mom used to do some catering, and the roof of the house was covered in hundreds and thousands - no idea how they got there!

Last year I went camping to Cornwall with my dad, brother + friend and we visited the National Lobster Hatchery in Padstow.

I just thought it was a good idea (everyone else thought it was crazy ) but I adopted a family of lobsters, one for each of us.

There was a party like that in our street last summer - the house owner (Principal of local college) went away for the weekend, son had a party which ended up as a drug-fest and the police were called with several arrests being made. Dreadful damage was done to the house and I gather it ttok a long time to fix it all.

The police were always there.

My daughter grew up impervious to noise and slept through the 1987 hurricane as did her parents
