I'm waiting to hear back from Richard at the Horse and Groom.

He has asked if 7pm is OK - or do we need it to be a bit earlier?

He's putting together choices for 2 courses + coffee at a set price. Drinks to be paid for separately.

 

Can we confirm numbers? - Clare, I wasn't sure how many you are bringing with you?

I know it wouldn't be easy for you... at least you would be with other very supportive omleteers.

The practicality of managing your flock might make it a useful skill :think: Although I am sure I can speak for mostin and myself that we'd help out if ever you needed support.

I had a phone call from Rachel from the Horse and Groom and she told me what the food is likely to be - Ham, Egg and chips, veggie lasagne, meat lasagne, rich choc brownie, lemon tart, vanilla cheesecake........and she was supposed to phone back with a price.......still waiting......

 

...and, we can go earlier.

Yes Clare - I'm hoping to take pre-orders for most. I still haven't heard the cost so I will phone later today.

 

I hope the standard is the same when they are cooking for numbers of people :? - I had egg and chips when my son had the ham, egg and chips and the eggs were cooked perfectly - I hate frazzled eggs with a skin on the bottom :vom:

 

Claire should know how they are when cooking for larger numbers?

I have to say the standard when we went was great :D The increase in numbers didn't seem to cause any problems what so ever.
