Cinnamon
Was last nights episode bumped because of the tennis? Darn shame - I was looking forward to seeing that today - I love The Supersizers, & think its one of the best things currently on TV
Pedro1962
Yes, I think that Crimewatch was bumped over from Beeb1. I had it on to record. I wonder when it will be aired now?
Tessa the Duchess
I think it will be aired next Monday. I was really looking forward to watching them survive on post war rations Tessa
HENthusiastic
It makes me when the powers that be decide that we all want to watch sport all summer instead of the stuff we usually watch.
Space Chick
We had to watch Eastenders on the BBC3 repeat at 10pm because we didn't know it had moved to BBC2

Christian
OH and I were looking forward to it last night. Really annoyed too
Griffin
Gawping at Giles Coren is the highlight of my week. How dare the BBC deprive me of that I had to make do with Daniel Craig at his very scrummiest in a repeat of Moll Flanders
Cinnamon
So, let me get this right. They moved all the BBC1 shows on to BBC2 so the tennis could be shown on BBC1 ? Whose brain wave was that - disrupting 2 TV schedules??? Absolutely stupid. They should have either just shown the darn tennis on 2 or rescheduled the 1 shows And because I had Sky+'d 'Supersizers', & it wasn't shown, the series link will need to be re set too I am cross that I didn't get my weekly Giles fix Did someone mention Daniel Craig? Griffin
Robin Hood is on iplayer. I watched it this afternoon because I was working all weekend. I'm glad I watched it at home and not at work because it made me cry
bluekarin
I was also really looking forward to Supersizers as its one of my fave programmes on the telly currently and my ED. I think Giles and Sue make a wonderful married couple But I really did enjoy the tennis and was on the edge of my seat and was really pleased they didn't cut the programme short
chickencam
Sorry I can't agree, I think TV is at it's best when covering live events, they may not all be to my taste, but in this media age most programmes can be caught up on in some way or another, but live events need to be just that. Cinnamon
I see your point, but why disrupt 2 schedules? Tennis was moved from 2 - 1 1's shows then broadcast on 2 2's shows dropped altogether. Surely it makes more sense to show the tennis on 1 & show the disrupted programmes later or on another day?
chickencam
Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense does it, but what do we know we only pay the fees
