Valkyrie
Tis correct - although she is more commonly known as Mim (Madam Mim) - and number one son is Ciaran. OH is Murray and I am Kerry - usually answering to most names including rude ones.
Chickvic
My DD (11) is also called Erin - when we chose it no-body I knew had heard of the name DS (9) is called Edan, DH is Richard and I am Vicki. I try not to answer to the rude ones

Valkyrie
Oops sorry - I was waiting for the page to load and it took forever! I think the first time I ever heard the name was the girl in Happy Days (not the character which was Joanie). Have you been to a garden centre? Erin everywhere! Edan is very unusual - I have never heard that one before - it's nice to be so different with a nice sound too. Poor Ciaran hates his name. Most have trouble trying to pronounce it - even my MIL (well, it kind of says a lot for her) after we said it's just a different way to spell Kieran! She always called him Karen. Of course if I had insisted on Frazer or Cameron then there wouldn't have been any problem - or would there? Our surname is Leach (yuk) so any names beginning with B were instantly discarded. I didn't want any teasing like "how many household germs have you killed today?" or "Oi Domestos, come here!" Well time for bed for me, now that the dishwasher has finished. Good night. They need a stage manager for a show + are giving me a ring this week

clootie
Sorry peeps, Eric is still very subdued but he'll be fine in a couple of days I'm sure. I had to give him scrambled egg last night and keep him as still and quiet as possible, which wasn't dificult as he was glued to my side all night. I really don't want to put the lampshade on him but if he doesn't stop licking, I will !! I have to take him back on Tuesday for his post op check. Thanks for your concern How's Grandad Debs? Did he scoff his apple pie?
Valkyrie
Glad to hear you are both well Cloots. I had visions of Eric in your bed and you in the basket for the night! Or maybe the labour candidate grabbed your leg on the way to the vets and wouldn't let you go until you had voted and so you dragged him/her up the road thus big delay - or they locked you in the polling station and they didn't open up till this morning!!! Ahh eggs. I like eggs! Has Eric given you the evil eye at all?

Space Chick
Cloots, thats good that Eric is doing well, I was so concerned. I remember when my Henry had his operation (Teeth out), he was out of it for 2 days I felt so sorry for him. Scrambled eggs is definitely the way to go Well the wonders of mobile internet, I can sit in the hospital and use the forum Wish I'd thought of this yesterday, shame I couldn't get my works laptop to work Grandad is having his follow up to check everything is OK. He was delighted with the Apple Pie He reckons that my pastry is as good as my Nans used to be, which is a HUGE compliment

Space Chick
Funny you should ask. I have promised him Clementine and Chocolate Trifle tomorrow I made the Clementine Jelly last night, and will be adding the chocolate custard and cream later. Its the night my friends come around for dinner tonight. Although I am only doing 2 courses today So, for main the choices are Roast chicken thighs, Meat Lasagne or Veggie Lasagne all served with potatoes from the garden, salad and some cheese and onion french bread. Desserts are Apple Pie and Vanilla Ice-cream, the Clementine and Chocolate Trifle or Strawberry Ice-cream. Everything is home made as always. So chaps, what would you order. It is a simple menu this month, but I think I can be forgiven as have had loads going on
clootie
Veggie lasagne for me followed by clemetine and choccie - yumska !! What time do you want me?
Valkyrie
Eye eye! That's what my grandad used to say - and he called himself Popeye! Bearing in mind he was in the field artillery and I couldn't see many muscles even when nan dished up the spinach! He has given you the finest accolade there - I thought it was rather good - especially with the ice cream. So, how can you match your nan next? Currant duff? Or as we called it Spotty Dog! Ooh sounds good Clootie!
Chickvic
Morning all I've haven't slept in this late since I don't know when Debs I'm glad everything is still good with Grandad Clootie good news that Eric will be jumping about in a few days! Good luck with the job Lewis! I know of a Ciaran spelt that way too, what is it with people and names?!
