Hi everyone - I knew you'd all understand! It was £376 - just the cube no run. If I decide I need a run, I'll aim to pick one up on the forum. But in the medium term I'm planning on a WIR- now I have Omlet netting and the eglu runs.

 

Andrew, I may take you up on your offer! But OH is home early on Fridays so I'll press gang him first ( although he doesn't know this is happening yet!)

 

I've just picked up three of my Poland's offspring hatched by the local school who are currently in the pre-loved red eglu. I think 2 are cockerels so will be going back BUT I've also found some Silver Laced Polands AND some Gold Laced SO I just had to have some more housing. So I'll move Phillip and his two wives into the Cube with their " daughter" ( they are all getting on quite well). Then put the 4 (?) babies will go into the green eglu.

 

The red one I will probably lend to a young friend who can't afford to buy one yet and is so keen to have some chickens.

 

( I might ask astw to help put some pics up as well - and maybe help me with my signature?? )

Sorry La Poule for not replying earlier. I've been in hotels etc all week so not able to get online easily. The laced chicks are from a local person who is just keen on Polands. But they aren't sexed - so I could end up with all cockerels! I'll let you know how I get on.
