Chickvic
This is my DD, 11, on her Prom Night tonight, my MIL made the dress and she looked gorgeous - I'm just rubbish at taking photos The weather was wonderful!
bluekarin
looks the same weather as we had this evening for my ED school disco. 2 hours, in a hall, full of year 7 and 8 grammer school boys and girls Her friend was very popular with the boys and came away with a boyfriend. Ahh young love ps forgot to say your DD looks lovely!
Redwing
She looks lovely, what a shame it rained but then I don't expect that dampened her spirits
Valkyrie
Aww shame about the weather. Luckily the do's are indoors. She looks lovely. I do like the frilly bits on the dress. Not sure about the black brolly though - needs some lace! And why oh why do they try not to look at you when you are snapping them? DD wouldn't even have her photo done on her own. We have several pics all with other girls and one lad. At least DS did eventually (complaining bitterly all the time).

Cinnamon
Super frock! Its so much better when they look classy & pretty rather than some of the young 'ladies' at my daughters Prom who looked tarty beyond belief I hope she had a great time
Valkyrie
I know what you mean. Some girls had revealing frontages down to their bellybuttons - perhaps to titilate the boys, while others showed the parting of the ways at the back. Thankfully the majority wore lovely dresses that made them look far more grown up than those trying to look older. What were their mums thinking!!??? Now if that had been me going to a prom I would be sorely tempted to drop a prawn or something down into the backless - almost bottomless dresses.
