I spent yesterday evening cuddling my little nephew

 

He is nearly 2 months old now and much more solid than he was, but still very dinky. he was fascinated (sp) by the older children pulling funny faces at him, they love him to bits He also loved my OH's big round smiley baby face.

 

He eventually arrived with his mum and dad 6 hours late, they don't half faff , they are staying in a flat in town so that they can have a mooch around and explore Cheltenham today, but they will be backwith us this afternoon and evening

 

I must try to get some more photos of him tonight.

His little tiny toes are adorable and watching him boxing my big 13 year olds big hands was really sweet. James was really lovely with him totally in awe of him great to watch a big gruff teenager playing with his tiny cousin enough to bring a little tear to the eye

Sounds lovely - my brother and SIL still faff with their baby - she's almost 6 months old now. I don't remember being quite so bad - but anything and everything was disinfected with my DS. It's chubby smiling cheeks that get me.

I'm always abducting friends' babies for a good snuggle and sniff.

We loved having him around . The big hand by his head belongs to my 13 year old son.

 

We get to see him again in a fortnight, then again about 3 weeks later

 

I have to say we are really worried about him catching swine flu, especially with the advice over the weekend to parents of young babies not to travel unnecessarily with them

I can't help but think about where those paws have been I am not a fan of paws in any form animal or human, babies excepted but even then I wouldn't want to sniff them
