Yes! But if I blow the whistle 3 times in a row "peep peep peep", that would mean I was taking emergency action, so all the other lifeguards would come running, the pool would be evacuated etc etc

I went to my local pool the other day, see if there were any jobs going (which I was told there was), the council has put a freeze on recruiting at all pools!

Well done on passing, sorry to hear your local pools aren't recruiting.

 

My father in law is a leisure centre manager and runs lifeguarding courses, I think my hubby used to be qualified. Don't you have to regularly take tests to keep it valid or something? Hubby used to work in the Turkish Baths in Harrogate.
