atsw
Hello everyone, Thought I'd take the opportunity to give you all a picture update of our seven chicks. They are three weeks old this weekend. The 'boys'. Don't think there's any doubt about these two! The girls. Feeding frenzy. Very upright, so could be a boy. However, no comb to speak of yet. Probably a girl? The one everyone on this forum seems to love . Look at face furniture! It's even going red! Cheers! Andrew

atsw
Lovely andrew! Is my theory working ??? I think it is? Yes, I think you were right, although the little terrors run around so quickly now it's quite hard to track individuals . It's not helped by the fact their feathers are masking their original colouring, so all the ones that had light fronts and dark stripes now look the same as the others! However, I think we have three girls and two boys for sure (inc liquorish), with two currently 'not sure'. Things should be much clearer by the end of the month. To be honest, I really don't mind how it turns out, the whole experience has been such an education and such a pleasure . Andrew
