Well Dan's first afternoon went well too. Typically it rained as soon as they came out, we got soaked walking/running home, then it stopped and the sun came out as soon as we got indoors

 

Don't know about him but I'm shattered from going back and fore to the school 4 times, got to do it again tomorrow.

Glad everyone had a good day - I think there have been far too many downs for us and now things are looking up. Even OH has been really busy for the last few days - he doesn't know whether he's coming or going. The downside is that he hogs this room from the early hours of the morning till now. Gerroff, my turn!

Now DD has bleached her hair in parts - she is going to dye it blue (for those special Welsh boys). She asked for a treat for passing her test so far - she chose

It's strange how it's always nice to snuggle into your own bed. I usually take my pillow everywhere when we stay away - just that little bit of comfort.

Hello Laura, insurance is so expensive when you are young. Guess you'll be doing a few jobs but it's great to learn when young, I did as soon as I was old enough. Good luck in a couple of weeks in case I forget then.

Dad is ok thanks Plum. It was the first week where he didn't lie down flat in the afternoon, so I think he was pleased. He was a bit grumpy at the start but fine

 

We went to Newquay zoo and they had a barbu d'anver and some chicks and a few cockerels running around. The only bit I thought was a bit bad was the lioness on her own and maybe needed a bit more room - they said her mate died of old age and she doesn't exercise a lot so is ok where she is.
