Does anybody else ever feel.....Part # 7

Recommended Posts

Gosh I can't leave you alone without adult supervision for 2 minutes without Laura spreading rumours at JJ, and JJ calling Laura names

Joshy is the only grown up here

Year 8??? Whats that in old person speak? Is that the first year of secondary school?

BTW, my house is still a tip :wall:

:o...I was being good, it was a joke

Year 7 is the first year of secondary school, year 8 = year 2

Me and Em are 4th years, year 10 to us

It's like at a parent teacher evening, chichi was waiting around and one of the other dads, who he happens to work with asked what year I was in now..and he didn't know!

How are you feeling Debs? :D

Hi Debs! :D

Awwwh, they're all so sweet! Their form tutor has told them that during form time they're supposed to have reading books so they stay quiet. So soon as they arrive, before their form tutor gets there and its just me and my friend making sure they're ok, they've got their heads down in their books and they are totally silent. We're going to get them to do a bit of a game on monday morning to help them make friends and get to know each other. Then maybe they'll look less frightened of me!

Has anyone got any ideas for something I could do with them?

Em

Just been to Cinderella rehearsals :D

What we had to do was stand up, say your name, what school you used to go to, and something interesting that people wouldn't know about you ...

*jumps to feet* "Hi, I'm Lewis, I used to go to ******* and I've had my arm up a sheep"

...Who's next?

Hmmm, what have I come into?? :?

I am not famous even for a minute, but mumsie sang on the BBC radio when she was at school  and OH had a TV documentary made about him and his life in the Scouts - trouble is it was for Japanese TV. He had a reel presented to him and I gather it has subtitles - never seen it myself, although the reel is in the wardrobe probably rotting away. The other month he met one of his old Scout leaders and he said he had his transferred to a DVD and would get a copy for OH - his folks still live in the same house, so he would drop it in. We are still waiting. :( Funny thing was that the TV people wanted to introduce a "girlfriend" as a love interest - OH was having none of that!!! I think he was about 14, but not sure. On the other hand MIL was around plenty to embarrass him (typical  ).

DD phoned the grandparents yesterday with regard to her test. Chatted with mum for ages, then MIL - who only said well done now speak to your cousins. So she was passed from cousin to cousin to cousin and eventually back to MIL and was told she didn't have time to speak to her. DD was quite miffed at being dismissed. How mean. Evil old witch. 2.gif

She is sooooo not coming for Christmas. If OH dares to mention it nearer the time I will tell him very politely :liar: - OK maybe not politely - that she is not invited.

Well kitchen virtually done just woodwork to buff up (that's the easy bit) - bet it's back to being a tip by morning. I am now completely creamed, so I will say ta ta for now.
