That sounds loverly Debs. What's Squab? Love pork - yumm, and anything with Baileys in, although I prefer Merlyn from the Penderyn distillery.

Yes  at Olly - you wouldn't be saying that if it was in your kitchen.

Danny made me laugh though. One of those gold into cash adverts came on and he came running into the kitchen all excited saying 'mum, did you know you can now turn your gold into cash?' - like I've got loads hanging around the place  Anyway, so I said 'how do I do that then?', he said very seriously 'well you just add some sugar and honey give it a stir and put it in the oven':lol: So there you go the secret is out!

G'day sports.

There was a big frog on our new pathway at the front this morning - he probably wonders where his nice home under the paving slabs has gone.

Poor PT - I think I got off lightly with just DS tipping Readybrek all over the place including his head. How cute is Danny!

Sounds very tasty Debs - glad you didn't write that last night - I had missed lunch again! I think a sarnie is on the cards in a short while.

As DD is out this evening at college (she has to prepare the veg this evening) we are tossing up whether to go or not. This is the first years lot having a go with DD's remaining classmates helping out in the kitchen and serving. The restaurant will be quite empty so we feel obliged to give a hand - but then . . . well what could possibly go wrong while they are supervised? Last year DD's first attempt at lamb was nice but another table found she had left the string around it (luckily that was the table being occupied by the 2nd years trying to make up the numbers while they were supposed to be serving). So do we go or do I cook OH's seafood surprise?

I don't know why Debs, but 'pre-dessert' made me

Ah, bless Olly and Dan PurpleTree

I am in such a good mood ... :P

It's sunny, life is good and I got 46/49 on section one of my chemistry test 8)

I hope the other two sections go the same way..they haven't been marked yet...:anxious:

Just scoffed a pomme de terres avec fromage (sounds posh doesn't it - doesn't compte with Debs though )

My driving lesson has been cancelled again because his car has a big oil leak and he isn't sure when he can get a courtesy car
