Valkyrie
Morning all Well, Snorey MacSnoresnore gets up at 4, clatters around the bathroom and has a shower - more noise. Yours truly not amused. He leaves at 4.30 to get to King's Cross because he's off to Harrogate. Brrrrring Brrrring, goes the phone an hour later. "I've left my wallet at home". Words cannot express my mood at the time, apart from very rude ones. So as I can't sleep I turn on the computer to say "morning" and what does it do? It blooming misbehaves! Bad mood and blood pressure rising rapidly. Have brekkers - spill milk all over me. Arghhhh. Need sleep! Watch the news, come back in here and attack the computer - ta da screen back on. Are things uploading properly - no. Arghhhh. I can tell it's going to be one of those days.

Space Chick
Morning all I was rather shocking last night, I went to bed at 8.45 and have only woken up half an hour ago I have some people coming around from work this afternoon to see how I am, one is our HR person who can't wait to see the chickens They want to discuss ways to get me back to work which is fab, what I am hoping is that they will agree that I can work from home more, that way then when I see my Dr in a fortnight, she may be prepared for me to go back. Hope your day improves Koojie - the crab apple jelly was delicious, just had some on some lovely granary toast
Valkyrie
Thanks Cloots. But when I went to give the birds their brekkers I put the water on the top of the run so that I could hang up the feeder - no mean feat - I have to use the door hook to grab the chain and pull it across, and while I did that the water tipped over my head. Then the door hook got stuck in the chain and I had to untangle it before putting the feeder on it. I am going to hibernate and hope the world sorts itself out before I wake up. Morning Spacey, glad you like the jelly - I will inform his lordship when he gets home and after I've Hope all goes well workwise - it's nice to have understanding people in the workplace. My brother has ME - or he tells me that it seems to have gone now after some 25 years or so! And his workplace allowed him to do flexitime because his sleep pattern was shot to ribbons. So he went in early and came back around 3 for a sleep and he was up at 6 in the evening feeling a bit better. Some days worse, and then he found other people there had the same thing. They all supported each other which was nice. In the bank where I worked, one of the guys was passed over for promotion several times - his crime was to put his wife's health first as she suffered badly with post natal depression and he needed to look after her and the baby. He was a really nice man too. - stupid bank.
PurpleTree
Morning All! Well Danny loved his first ever school dinner yesterday - pasta and meatballs with bread followed by pink cake with sprinkles. He ate it all and got a sticker from the dinner ladies. They seem a bit sticker mad in the school, they seem to give them our for everything. Wonder what he'll have today. Koojie hope your day gets better. Debs let me know when you want to come down. Now shall I risk hanging my washing out on the line or not?

Valkyrie
I usually spell it with an I and a T. Sorry that so begged for that answer - it's the tireness turned me juvenile. Ahhhh widdle Oliver. Wish I could do that. Ooh lunchtime already? Hadn't thought about it - I think I'll have some of Debs jam on toast.

Valkyrie
I don't mind as long as he washes up after himself! Awww look at the concentration on his little face. Those chubby cheeks - so want to wiggle them! No I'm not really a perv, more a prude. Debs it's all happening your neck of the woods! Well done Leela. I burnt the toast. Well it was frozen so it popped up once and hadn't done, so I did it again.
Space Chick
Only Grace left to start laying now, but she is a Gold Laced Wyandotte supermodel In all honesty, she is a slow to mature breed, will be 18 months before she is full developed, she's 29 weeks old now and only has a pimple on the top of her head where a comb should be. I reckon she won't lay until next year. Never mind though, 9 of my 10 girls are laying now and I now have these on my egg skelter.... Its like Joseph and his amazing technicolour dream coat at my house...
