Scramble
I didn't mean it was pointless! I just meant the fact that Debs said it was pointless.

Space Chick
Reading in the bath Doesn't your book get wet? Now for me a bath is something you have in the evening when its dark with candles on and a nice glass of wine
Chickvic
Can't stand a bath I'm 5 ft 10" so don't fit in many, when we had our bathroom done I got rid of the bath and had a huge shower cubicle instead
Space Chick
I have a whirlpool bath, and it is very lovely to have it bubbling away, very relaxing I suppose I am lucky being "vertically challenged" at 5' 5'' Although I shower far more than I bath

Valkyrie
Night. I love baths - I find that's the only way I can relax but it must be brightly lit, no darkness for me and I sink underneath with my nose out of the water (funnily enough I can hear everything being said in the room below me when I do - great way to eavesdrop on DD ) - shower if in a hurry, but I don't like it because when my back is turned to the controls I seem to make the water burn me to death! Well sort of, or freeze me. This evening OH had to go out to work really late so DD and I went for fish and chips at the best place in Basingstoke (well, this side of Basingstoke). She had veggie burger and I had haddock (with chipsies). No salt on mine thank you. When we got home bleh, salt all over mine, so I had to go back and get another (after complaining on the phone and made sure the proper one would be ready to collect). Pity, they are usually so good. The other one OH had when he came in late - we reheated it in the oven, but it wasn't as crispy, but it was hot. I am off to Heathrow tomorrow to take DS and cuz to catch the plane to the US. All for a Blink 182 concert. Wish I could go. Then dash back for the opticians - again - they wanted to do my peripheral vision. DD is back to college on Friday. Yes Lewis, good idea - Omlet Omlet Omlet. Fred - not the harlequin ladybirds which are really foul. I suppose you could if you were desperate, but I'm not sure whether they excrete some sort of toxin when in danger. Even the chickens don't touch them. I'm sure there are more poisonous beetles if you search for them. Well, I'm off again nighty night. And I used to read with a torch under the covers too. Lewis
Well I still haven't done my Biology I've got all my books out and am trying to start it now ... turning off facebook and MSN so bye for now. Its SO tempting to just say I'll do it in my double free tomorrow, but I know I'll just sit there talking to someone in the common room, or go home
Valkyrie
I'm aaaaallllll alone. No guests and no bots. Couldn't sleep - not one snore either. But the widdle wobin is singing outside and it's beginning to get lighter - still lots of stars - and a neighbour has forgotten to turn off their computer. OH up to London and I am just about to turn on the hot water because I would like a shower before going out and the boys will use up the rest before we head off. Just got the directions - been a long time since I went there - what a nightmare. Lewis you'll just have to limit your time chatting with us - schoolwork first. Good luck. Well I'm off again to have a nosey at the TV guide for next week with a cup of coffee. I don't feel tired at all. But looking forward to a good night's sleep later on - no midnight feasts and cigarette sorties to wake me in the middle - I probably won't even notice if OH snores! Oooh, mental note, must get petrol.
Chickvic
Morning all! DD is walking to school on her own today because her friend is running late, luckily she is quite happy to do so although I did offer to drop her off halfway. Have a good day everyone
Valkyrie
Ah, the eager little girl hoppity skippety to school. Been out for petrol, had the shower. Must have been cold last night - the condensation on the car was incredible - and on the inside of the windows indoors. A chill in the air outside, but not necessary for a jumper yet in my books (I know DD would beg to differ! ).

Valkyrie
Lovely day here too Debs. I'm home and I didn't get lost too much. In spite of my directions I ended up going into the airport from a different side, but I found the tunnel bit that I wanted anyway. Coming out I ended up on the M4 and forgot I could get off onto the M25, but no problem - I went on via Reading and had a singalong on the way home. I've since had a text from number 1 saying t"hanks for the lift, Love love." He refused point blank to give his mummy a kiss at the drop off point and his cousin said "you meannie" There were no hold ups anywhere, so we got there half an hour earlier than planned - so I ended up at home at the time they were supposed to get dropped off. PurpleTree
Afternoon all. I cut the grass earlier and I've injured my lawn mower on the climbing frame. The blade has gone a bit bent on the ends and it makes a bit of a funny noise when it's going. Anyone know if you can buy replacement blades for Flymo's? Valkyrie
Sorry but I can't resist - it's a lot less bother with a hover! Now why were you trying to mow the climbing frame?
