Geoid
My wisdom teeth are 'partially erupted' says the dentist.
Valkyrie
I only have a little corner come through on one tooth, it only bothers me if stuff (lamb usually) gets stuck under the gum, but luckily that doesn't happen often. Then I either have to put TCP on it or if it won't get better after that, a fantastic dental wash called Corsadyl (or is it Corsodyl?) - better to get the minty one with the green label because the plain one with the pink label is bleh! Also much better to get it from a supermarket because if the dentist ever gives you a prescription for the chemist it will cost double (that's what I found out much to my disgust). DD has announced that she would like Chinese takeaway then we can keep some for dad for later. Hmmm, the things she thinks of. She already had fish and chips anyone would think money grew on trees - and just in case anyone mentions it - technically some money is made of paper and hence trees - had that row with number one son, the smart alec. clootie
You're so right Koojie, the pink one is bleh but I didn't know it came in green You should try the toothpaste - double bleh !
Space Chick
Hello all, Clootie, I can make a Mexican tomorrow night, how would some Enchiladas grab you? Or some Chilli con Carne, or maybe both What time should I expect you Had great fun with the 10 year old girls, they adore my girls They asked loads of questions, got very upset by the ex batts feathers and have vowed never to have anything with battery eggs again and hugged several girls and fed them corn. Then I served them some home made chocolate ice-cream, and my friends little girl has asked will I make some of my homemade ice-cream for her birthday party in a fortnight. I have agreed We've just had our tea, the salmon was yummy, as is the glass of wine I've left the inner doors open tonight, the oldies have gone to bed but the ex batts are still up. I'm going to see where they go to bed, and then decide whether to close the inner doors

Space Chick
Sounds fabulous, but you'll need the alcohol free Mojitos, and no Tequilla slammers

Space Chick
I'd rather a nice chilled glass of white wine to a tequila slammer to be honest, but I just wanted to stick with the mexican theme

Space Chick
I have a cocktail cabinet too, and hardly ever drink any of the spirits in there. I keep thinking I should have a cocktail party. Some of the spirits have moved house with me twice, so means I've had them about 12 years

Guest
evening all. ON the Rose here but recently I have been working my way through the booze cupboard - I have got loads in there from when my friend went back to Canada and gave me all of hers. Ever since then we have a party twice a year and tell people to just bring mixers but somehow they don't believe us and we end up with more and more booze! Problem is I have no mixers and I'm running out of stuff to drink neat - liquour time next methinks as I've already done the sherry. Exciting weekend for us - sad for another Omleteer though. On Sunday we are off to Paola's house as we are adopting her lovely dog Mille! Very high excitement levels here but I havn't wanted to post much about it as I know how sad Paola is. Space Chick
At least Paola knows that her dog is going to a good home, and she can visit him if she comes home Well done Pengy
Geoid
Just reading the news and I read, to my horror, that the UK have launched a military satellite called Skynet. Incase you don't already know, Skynet was the military network (with satellites) that launched all the nukes in Terminator ( 3 - rise of the machines) to try and kill the human race! *goes deep inside bunker* http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/6434773.stm Edited September 11, 2009 by Guest
