Polands At Four Weeks.

Recommended Posts

Two days late though due to horrific dental problems with me, not them

I think I'm beginning to get some idea of their gender. Girls hair is very rounded, neat and together looking in Polands whereas the boys are more wayward and flopping out to the sides. I still think I've got one of each of the silver laced.

Silver laced 1:

White crested black, sure it's a boy:

Crele, I'd say girl right now:

The other silver laced:

Brahmawotisnotapoland, I'm really hoping that because it still has no sign of a comb or redness that it's a girl, no boy feathers yet either:

Beware the hair test for Polands. We've used it twice and got 2 out of 3 wrong each time! The only reliable test we've found before they crow is to look for any sign of red wattles. If they have them by 7/8 weeks we've found they are boys - but very handsome boys!!

His hair's massive isn't it? Everything about him is massive though, he's twice the size of the other chicks, has twice as much hair and his character is massive too  I really hope I'm wrong and that he is a she. It's weird because of all the Poland colours, I would've said white crested black was my least favourite but having got to know this one I've changed my mind!
