I've almost finish book 9 of TB, then I've got the short stories. Was supposed to pace myself so I'd have something to read on my holiday in two weeks time but I couldn't put them down. What am i to read now? Have read Vampire diaries series and the twilight series so just wondered if the Black dagger books were worth a go? I haven't started them yet Stoice, i've had a flick through but still not sure about them. I'm reading Twilight but thats a bit slow and Tweenie. the Lurker Posted March 13, 2010 Share Posted March 13, 2010 i'd say the Anita Blakes are definitly worth a go! they're kind of like an even naughtier, more grusome version of the southern vampire mysteries. and the vamps aren't the baddies really, it's the same scenario of some being good and conforming to modern society and others being bad and munching on whoever they fancy, and of course they are all devastatingly gorgeous! there's also weres, voodoo practitioners, demons, faeries and all the other supes you would expect. i've read most of them and now that i've finished book 9 (and am nearing the end of touch of dead) i think i will try finishing them off until no.10 comes out in may Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
