Black dagger books have arrived ... But I'm not sure!

 

Any joy with the Black Dagger books?

I've almost finish book 9 of TB, then I've got the short stories. Was supposed to pace myself so I'd have something to read on my holiday in two weeks time but I couldn't put them down. What am i to read now? :roll:

Have read Vampire diaries series and the twilight series so just wondered if the Black dagger books were worth a go?

 

 

I haven't started them yet Stoice, i've had a flick through but still not sure about them. I'm reading Twilight but thats a bit slow and Tweenie. I JUST WANT MORE TRUE BLOOD BOOKS - HURRY UP CHARLAINE AND WRITE SOME MORE!! :D

I've just had a look through Amazon. Has anyone tried the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton? I might try them until TB10 come out. Should see me through my holiday too. Sadly i think vamps are baddies in this series but it still looks interesting

i'd say the Anita Blakes are definitly worth a go! they're kind of like an even naughtier, more grusome version of the southern vampire mysteries. and the vamps aren't the baddies really, it's the same scenario of some being good and conforming to modern society and others being bad and munching on whoever they fancy, and of course they are all devastatingly gorgeous! there's also weres, voodoo practitioners, demons, faeries and all the other supes you would expect.

i've read most of them and now that i've finished book 9 (and am nearing the end of touch of dead) i think i will try finishing them off until no.10 comes out in may

Jason had an interesting bath time on Friday!! Naughty Sarah! Loving TFOTS cult like goings on .... loving Sam's love interest obv something to do with Marianne ... and those parties .... wow!!

please could someone let me know how many episodes i have missed from series 2 as just found it on FX and put it to record but need to catch up?

having a nightmare finding somewhere to watch catch up too :evil: got half way through ep1 for them to tell me i had watched too much and had to come back in an hour lol think maybe because i put it on pause for a while.

So do a lot of music videos these days. :shock: It amazes me that some get on before the watershed, and makes all that hoo-ha about Madonna's videos years ago seem a bit ridiculous.

I'm feeling a bit yucky today so I've just decided to cheer myself up with several episodes of series 2. Eric is lovely in episode 8 & Jason is brilliant but Sookies acting is hysterically bad at times :lol:

 

Thank you Griffin! I thought it was just me! Sookie is REALLY annoying me in series 2!
