dancing cloud
Not posted for a while as promotion keeping me out of mischief so hello *waves* to everyone and hope you and yours are all well. Me and mine are still thriving, though egg production has much reduced and cats have increased to four But to the main point, after owning my lovely (now very rusty) Clio from new, after 15 1/2 years I've finally gone and ordered a new car . I'm getting a Toyota IQ3 (pronounced IQ cubed apparently) in red, though I have to wait till January for delivery . Logically, the Clio is costing more and more to keep on the road and the s"Ooops, word censored!"page was too good to pass up, but I'll still be sad to see the old girl go . The IQ3 felt really good to drive and although far from cheap it was the car I most liked when I test-drove a few. I usually don't like red cars at all (just one of those things), but they had a second-hand IQ in red on the forecourt and it was love at first sight, it just looks so cute! Of course, if I'd wanted black, I could have had that this week, but no, it had to be the red one. It's a very teeny tiny car, less than 3m long, but still enough room for shopping (or cat carriers full of ex-batts) . Now got to be patient till January - drums fingers - though I can always hope she arrives a bit sooner . She's going to be called Ruby, by the way, - well what else could I call a little red car that's a cube?

poachedegg
Congratulations on your new car! I know where you're coming from regarding the red - I wouldn't pick red usually, however when I got my mini, it just HAD to be red and it's . Roll on January!! dancing cloud
Redwing wrote I have knickers bigger than that car The IQ3's actually quite wide, at least as wide as the Clio, so it feels like a decent-sized car when you're driving it, till you look in the mirror and there's no car behind you. Makes parking easy though - just keep reversing till you can reach out and touch the car behind you!
