Woohoo I got new boots today and I love them they're perfect They are a cross between a welly and an ugg, waterproof, snug as a bug, long enough to tuck my trousers in but not too long to be a problem with my fat calfs and they're machine washable

For any Essex girls interested this shop is at Braintree, its a lovely little shop at Blake End Craft Centre - the whole place is well worth a visit. She does mail order if anyone else wants the boots, they would be £2.90 P&P.

Do you think they could cope with Canadian snow? My son is getting married next February literally outside IN THE SNOW! So I'm frantically searching for some elegant but WARM boots. I like the look of the fuscia ones.

 

The reception is inside so there's going to be a lot of shedding of layers!

Umm they look comfy but i'd only wear them in the garden for chickens but i have wellies and maybe in the snow which we hardly get anyway so wouldn't be worth it lol
