There's stuff on the FV forum about the New Year ball not working. There are some suggestions on how to get it to work - one says just put it in storage then take it out again (possibly a few times) .

I've sold mine now, i want to get rid of my tree too but no chance.

Yay my ball has dropped,

 

I had to move it to where there was nothing else in the screen for it to work , level 34 now though .

I levelled up too,eventually,& have had a fun day rearranging my farm.

Got shot of a lot of animals,made more sowing space & a nice chunck of room for the Villa I soon hope to purchase.

 

I also took all my christmas lights down & WISH I could sell that darn tree!

Once the christmas tree goes..........then I will sell off all my christmas themed items then, including the lovely clumsy reindeer .

I've had a bit of a tidy up and re-arrangement, got rid of my alien cows and acquired a white kitten.

I've re-arranged things too . Got rid of all the Christmas tat (bar the tree ) and all the alien stuff - I want my farm to look real after all . Penguins don't really fit but they're cute so they can stay for now.

I really want to expand but it's still locked . I've no room to buy anything else big .

Thanks for all the gifts and neighbour requests. How do I send you gifts back? Do I have to individually click on each of you on the bottom row where it shows all my neighbours and do each one seperatly or is there a way to do a mass gift send to all my neighbours?

I really love my reindeer & you do get reindeer on farms. I used to live next door but one to a farm with reindeer in Germany. They weren't for meat, just as pets. So my lovely reindeer is staying to keep my goat company.

I want some more fences now, to build my paddocks / pens, ready for more animals. I'm building my orchard & flowers wood at the moment for my chickens to roam in.

At the top of the farm screen there are some white tabs, one of which says free gifts. From here you can pick a gift and then tick up to 24 friends to gift to (used to be 30 but lately i've only been allowed 24). Makes life awkward as i have more than 24 neighbours so one day i gift from the bottom of the list and the next day from the top of the list. If you are in the middle, you're lucky

Definitely, i don't like to bug people who don't have farmville, it's not like they'll have not heard of it.

I have an even bigger problem , I have about 65 Farmville friends, but some have just stopped playing and let their farms die. I have removed them as neighbours but they still show up on your FarmVille friends list .

 

I have had to make my own written list of those worthy of my gifts , so I don't waste them on those that don't farm to our omlet standards of animal care .

I do so want some new stuf now - very bored of all the Christmassy bits.

Oh & the 24x24 upgrade would be good too!

 

On a plus note,I won a DONKEY today from opening a golden egg,which I have been after for ages.

No need for me to open any more of those now,leaving them for those who really want them (well,until something else comes out of them I suppose....)
