My niece has lost her chicken! She said that they had been let out to free range this morning,and her neighbour saw three of them on another neighbours driveway, she got three of them in,but poor Eric was nowhere to be seen! I drove over to their house and helped my nieces search for Eric,but we can't see her(I keep saying him) anywhere.There were no feathers to say that a fox may have had her . I am just hoping that she may be hiding somewhere and she goes home at bed time.

I'm so sorry, I hope you find him, it might sound silly but could you leave a trail of favourite treats down the driveway? give him some incentive? (her sorry, you've got me doing it now ) but good luck, we're keeping our fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts.My nieces (Lucy and Emily) have left a trail of corn,so hopefully she will find her way back. I am going to their house later so hopefully there will be good news. As for he/she -I blame my BIL - why he gave her a boys name I don't know!

Sorry folks,only just got in.No, as far as I know Eric hasn't turned up,but my sil and her family have been out all day, so maybe Eric has come home this afternoon. If I hear any news I will let you know.
