My DS sat his this morning but we won't know anything until March 2010 We're similar, YS sat his on Fri but only one grammar school in area that boys can go to. Although one of my friends with a YS that also sat the exam pointed out that at least for the children there is some distance from the work they had to do to prepare so if they are disappointed they have had time to forget how hard they worked and hopefully disappointment will be lessened a little. My parents were both Second World war refugees with nothing and I know it was a grammar place that set me on my professional path in life.I was sent to a religious primary where only three of us passed( I think faith schools, particularly Catholic ones, were quite different in those days. I didn't take the chance with my one and only offspring and paid through the nose for a private education. Well done, well done again and I hope there's a place for her in the end.
