Afternoon! I missed all the hugging yesterday, I'll send you a cwtch anyway Debs (they're even better).

Fed up with this wind. Had to do repairs on the chooks shower curtain twice yesterday. First thing before I'd even had breakfast, they were a bit soggy poor things. Then I was out all day, got back about 4:30, so nearly dark, to discover the other side of the curtain had been ripped away. So had to fix it mostly by feel and a bit of squinting. Then thought I'd check for eggs while I was out there, and discovered all 3 of them squashed onto the nestbox

Guess what? It's just started raining again, surprise, surprise.

I hope Lewis's sniffles have stopped.2.gif

Sioux has stopped laying again. Must pounce on her - see if that works. Squirt laying for England at the moment.

Went to Reading this morning and I have bought this for my niece:

Oh it has an alpaca, a sheep, a duck and ducklings, a chicken with chicks and a man and a lady holding a chick and a bunny, and I think it's a horse, and a man and a little jeepy thing. I want one. I played with them in the shop. Now I'm excited.

And happy birthday to Minimeclootie Merrick - I missed it - sorry. I hope MCM is much better and got on alright at the docs.

I like that happy land set. Olly's got the ELC wooden farm set, which he loves, we have quite a lot of chickens for it, and for some reason lots of mini horses.

I'm waiting for a delivery from ELC, bought a couple of things last week, had the despatch notice saying to expect delivery by Thursday 19th, and still haven't had it. Sent them an email earlier to see what's happened to it. Typically my SIL chose something for my nephew that was a web exclusive, otherwise I could've picked the things up in town tomorrow. I'm going birthday/Christmas shopping with my Aunty

I do think the ages aren't right in the ELC. I saw a baby jigsaw for age 3 - my son was reading by then and he could do big jigsaws - I was on bigger and better ones then too. The lady wanted us to buy little baby stuff, but she already has tons of ickle bits, so I was looking for something with a bit more fun that she can play with when she gets bigger - she'll be 1 in January! OMG that's gone quick!

John Lewis had a Santa and Rudolph hand puppets - wanted those too. It also had a cat that kept miaowing and moving whenever people walked past. Lovely irritating pressie for when she gets bigger. And of course a drum kit.

Mum is happy - she found a noisy book in the Disney shop, and a couple of things in ELC. We've bought trendy socks for Ciaran - he's virtually done, I bought a hoodie and long sleeved t-shirt (for obvious reasons). Erin is sorted and I can't say because the nosey madam keeps logging on here to see what I'm doing with my looney friends. :shameonu: Nah ahh Erin - you aren't going to find out on here! Harrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
