Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 11

Recommended Posts

Howdie folks. Yeeharrrrr! Tis misty day today, beware the Flying Dutchman it lurks there. Oh good, can't get to me then he'd have to go uphill all the way and no sea either. There is that suitable for a nutty thread?

Ahem. My clocks at home are all correct - because Murray changes them. My car is running an hour different. I get to places very early - and you should see me in the shops - race around and then have tons of time to spare.

I am fed up with the home office (Murray's) - 2 reps came yesterday and all they did was sit in the dining room, chat a bit, chat on their phones - all at the same time including Murray. It was so irritating - especially when I was asked to get them tea. I felt like putting a huge wart on my face, wrap my hair in a bun, walk around with the teapot and say "Now wouldn't you like a nice cup of tea? Oh go on, go onnnnn, go on go on go on" in an Irish accent a la Father Ted. Closely followed by "what did your last slave die of?":roll::lol:

Morning all! Well I survived the night without hubby. Decided to sit down and watch Slumdog Millionaire which we borrowed off in-laws, was quite good and I didn't fall asleep in it  Didn't sleep very well though, kept waking up thinking I'd heard noises. Not good at sleeping on my own. The kids didn't come through to me until 7 though which must be a record.

Hubby didn't sleep well either, he had a headache when he phoned due to hot, stuffy room and watching over bright presentations. He was heading out for a curry, so hope he enjoyed it.

You'll probably sleep better once he's home - and so will he.

Just done the 2 mins silence - easy, only me around. Her ladyship is driving to college in a while, so will get her up (late night tonight and she's in the kitchen, so will be home earlier than when she serves). We make sure she checks with us when she gets to college, and I will ask her to ring when she leaves, so if she's late home, I will be on tenterhooks. Crikey - the worries change don't they?

Ah, Mrs Doyle - how could I forget the name? When I went to Ireland with my old schoolchum, we visited her aunty and there was always a kettle brewing on the stove - in fact it was like a coffee percolator - although it was so strong you could stand a spoon up in it! The only time it came off the heat was to pour out a cupful. :D Remember that time well - we watched the SAS storming the Embassy at my friends cousin's house in Dublin!

I think theres 4 or 5 of us going to see Russell Howard so far - need to find a couple more then I'll book the tickets :D

Hope he feels a bit better PT - I hate it when you're feeling ill and have to concntrate in a really hot room because all you can concentrate on is the heat!

Just having a nose around the Omlet shop - I want a blue fleece, badges, car sticker + calendar ... shame they don't take paypal (I think!)
