Cinnamon
I am loving the Christmas John Lewis ad,with the acoustic version of 'Sweet Child 'o Mine' & the M&S one is lovely as ever. Hubby is pleased that the knicker girl is in it again But it won't truly be Christmas for me until I hear..................... 'The holidays are coming, the holidays are coming, the holidays are coming'

Griffin
I saw it! I can't wait until December 1st when the music channels start playing Christmas songs all day long. That annoys my kids but I love it
Laura & CTB
But it won't truly be Christmas for me until I hear..................... ubereglu
There haven't been as many as sometimes yet though! Although what I have noticed this season is that the shops aren't quite so Christmas-sy as they have been the past few years, which at this time of year I'm a little bit shocked at. I'm looking forward to Christmas though! Especially as I'll hopefully be going to London with my sister to go and see Harrod's and Hamley's Christmas displays! Charlottechicken
I've seen the Coke one, it was on Monday night. Love the adverts, can't stand the drink I've not seen the John Lewis ad, I would've remembered the music
Guest
It's already Christmas for the following reasons..... The turkeys are sitting on the bales of hay that spell out the word "Turkeys" at our local turkey farm (I MUST stop and get a picture!) STARBUCKS have the REDCUPS!!! My Mum is in NYC and was telling me how amazing the windows are at Lord & Taylor - much better than Harrods she says although I have yet to be in the big apple at this time of year (one day....) She has only done a small portion of 5th Ave today so maybe Lord & Taylor are NOT the best..... I don't watch ANYTHING live so I have no advert comments to make... 'The holidays are coming, the holidays are coming, the holidays are coming' The John Lewis ad is excellent and I love the new version of Sweet Child O' Mine. The kids didn't get it though I explained it's for us adults who remember what it was like at Christmas when we were kids. ED is already veryveryvery excited about Christmas I've tried to tell her not to get too excited as she'll just end up disappointed on the day. Doubt she'll listen though. Cinnamon
STARBUCKS have the REDCUPS!!! Have you seen the mini ceramic ones for the tree - too cute!
Guest
I did see them and want some when they reduce the prices nearer Christmas! Last year we got them all double cheap as they were reduced and we were in Florida where they were originally cheaper than here!

cordelia
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8366133.stm Did anyone else find the girl in her underwear offensive... to be honest I did.....I dont watch that program the actor is from...and as a mother (and female) of three daughters, I'm so tired of women being used like this... I know, I know, they are advertising underwear....but why bother on a Chrismas advert?? It his comments which make it all the worse, but when you think of it....why always naked women....??? They even have a naked woman being used to show bad teeth on a Corsodyl advert for goodness sake.. !!! I love Christmas, and dont want it spoilt...its embarassing when your daughters think they have to see naked or half naked women being used on TV all the time... Cinnamon
Actually I think that Noemie in her scanties is very much part of the M&S christmas advert - she does it every year. I know my husband looks forward to it ,& myself & me teenage daughters look on it as a bit of fun & enjoy seeing what she will be wearing each year (& envying how fabulous she always looks in it too)
