chick wiggle
My DD and I love the Twilight books and loved the film too. We went to see the new film New Moon yesterday and absolutely loved it. Wondered if anyone else loves it as much, have you seen the film yet and what did you think. Of course the film is not a patch on the books, but films never are so if you go knowing this I think you can sit back and just enjoy the film. The effects were great and it did stay mostly true to the book.
Space Chick
I went to see it yesterday too with my sister, and we both LOVED it. Can't wait for the Eclipse film next July now It was quite funny though, as it was me (35), my sister (31) and about a gazzilion teenage girls Although, when Jake took his shirt off, all the teenage girls cheered, which really made us laugh
chick wiggle
When Jacob took his shirt off there was an audible gasp in the cinema where we were too although i must admit it might just have been me doing the gasping though Ooo they do grow up quick these days Now i feel like those two old biddys off harry Enfield 'Ooooo young maaannnnn'
Space Chick
I'm still firmly in the "Team Cullen" camp though I was shocked when I found out that the actor who plays Jake is only 17 He must have done some serious gym work to get that many muscles! craftyhunnypie
Hmmm I find Edward rather dishy. It's those dark eyes & eyebrows & that sinister look that does it for me. Oh yes! Emma.x

Space Chick
I cried 3 times in it Loved the fight too, also loved the phasing to Werewolf, really well done I thought Em, I may have to go and see it again, so I don't think you'd have a problem seeing it twice. I mean, the first time you go is just research to make sure that Cooks would enjoy it

Sunshine
I took my sisters to see it today. I thought it was really good but definately prefer the books. Its good that they stuck to the book and not ruined it by making it completly different. There were quite a few of laugh out loud moments too. Plus the added advantage of hot guys playing the lead parts! Really looking forward to Eclipse already! I'm 20 and my sisters are 11 and 13 but there was quite a mix of ages at the screening we went too from little people probably aged 5/6 up to people aged 50-60ish. Also quite a few men which i didn't expect at all. I'd definately see it twice, i saw Twilight twice when it first came out. Once with my friend who had seen it before and then i took my sisters because i know they would love it which they do. Only one of them will read the books though so we can't talk about what happens in the 3rd and 4th books as she doesn't want to know. jlo
Just been with DD and with my mum. Three generations of us all drooling - it's just wrong really We really enjoyed it but the director definitely focussed on an audience of hormonal females with the sheer number of naked pecs on show. Not that I am complaining you understand! They also made the most of Bella's birthday and made Bella's hallucinations more than just voices to increase Edward's part. Given that I am also in the Cullen camp, I am not complaining about that either. DD is more of a Taylor fan and I can see where she's coming from! Cinnamon
Cleo went to see it on Saturday, with her boyfriend & she loved it although she had to explain everything to him as he isn't much of a fan Apparantly when the yummy Jacob came on screen, someone in the audience yelled 'shotgun!' I am going with Devon on Thursday. She could go with her friends or her boyfriend, but she wants to go with me so we can snigger at wet Bella together & not get all dewy eyed over the yearning,as her mates would
Seagazer
I can't wait to go and see this. OH knows I'm a bit obsessed with Edward . Whilst at London Dungeon he showed me some posters but I did say to him that I feel really because I am old enough to be his mother. He is definitely my favorite vampire. I'm trying really hard with True Blood Bill but he's just not quite doing it for me. I do think us girls like the brooding type of chap, although probably not to live with
stoice
I'm going to see it tonight! (With my OH who quite liked the first film - I've tried to play down the amount of muscles that will be on show, he he he) I've seen twilight a gazillion times on DVD in prep and have finally read all the books in the series too. July isn't too long to wait for the next one either. We'll have new moon on DVD in next to no time, once it's had it's stint on the big screen, to see us through till then. I'll be interested in how they tackle certain elements of the fourth film (If they're going to make films of all the books that is) Team Edward for me. (But Jacob has certainly grown up hasn't he? - Still way too young for me though, sigh. )
