Does anybody feel ..... Part # 12

Recommended Posts

Lewis just spent some more money on ebay :anxious: on a DMX controller for the lights I bought.

I might ask Santa if he can pay for it though :D Santa also just told me he wants me to get a Go for the ducks, so we might need to collect one ... not sure in this weather!

I don't feel as bad, because its just spending the money I got from selling things, and a refund I got from paypal :D ... also use Quidco so get a bit of money back

Our neighbour was telling us about his Santa visit when he was younger. He is Italian and was brought up by his aunt and uncle. When they came to live here his uncle wanted a proper British Christmas. My neighbour and his brother heard a noise and went to investigate - found their uncle in a Santa outfit and he said "Itsa da Santa Claus I come a to giva da presents". So my neighbour said "santa doesn't talk like that!"

Awwwwww - he sounded like a lovely uncle.

Oh nice piccies of your duckies in the snow - the shine makes them look like ornaments - if it wasn't for the footprints! Or are they ornaments?

Well my Godson was adorable :D

He has also opened his presents from me, and was magnificently impressed with his Thomas the Tank engine train set

I couldn't get the car back on the drive when I got home though due to the ice :anxious:

Luckily Phil had arrived home and was able to grit the drive so that I could pull on it.

Very scary though :anxious:

I just hope its better tomorrow as I am spending time with Grandad. I'll be gutted if I can't :(

Also I need to drop off more presents

Stuff still falling - probably sleety snowy stuff. I really feel I've had enough of it though. On the other hand being housebound I've managed to sort out the kitchen - just the fairy lights to go up. Garlands both up on the stairs and I've just finished putting the fairy lights on it. Now it's starting to look a lot like Christmas. :D

Morning :D

Phil managed to get his car off the drive this morning to go to work. I am going to leave it another hour or so before I go down Grandads.

So I have brought a cup of coffee to bed with my laptop.

I also have to pack today  We are leaving on Christmas Eve morning, and I still haven't started packing

Brrrrr bet that was cold! At the moment we have an Ocado lorry in our driveway - er he wasn't even delivering to us in our section. Murray has gone out with some carpet samples for him to get a grip with. Bit like Stonehenge, but carpet instead rolling over logs! He's gradually reversing out. We are surprised he actually got here - next door abandoned her car down the road.

Basingstoke all over the news this morning - but everybody held up yesterday that they interviewed didn't get stuck outside Jlo's. I was listening to see if she got a mention of thanks for loo breaks and refreshments! They said that the gritters didn't go out - yes they did at 9.30 in the morning before the snow.

Girls spent most of the day in the cube proper. Patch whinged and whined all morning, but the sun is out and it's beginning to melt. S"Ooops, word censored!"ed some snow off the grass to the clubhouse - but it was too drippy for them, and as I s"Ooops, word censored!"ed a path back to the house Murray called me Pied Piper - looked around and there they all were - doing the conga up the path.

Ooh Ocado man is nearly in the road. Gosh the excitement of it all!

Oh I know I'd be rubbish at ice skating. Tried roller blading in days of yore - used to have a weekly disco rollerskating thing at Thorpe Park. Murray is fine, but I spent most of the time on my bottom, knees, back so watched from the side instead - nice evenings spent watching BF skating round on his own - booooorrrring!

Afternoon all! Made is safely back from collecting Dan from school, :D still really icy here, our street in particular is still really bad. At least it's the hols now so I don't have to venture out in the morning, and once hubby gets home from work tomorrow tea time, the weather can do whatever it likes. Don't we're forecast any snow here though :(

Finished all my wrapping last night, and delivered my grandparents pressies this morning, so I'm all set for Christmas  Haven't actually got anything for Christmas dinner yet though :anxious:

I managed to finish wrapping the young'uns presents while they were asleep this morning. Erin is doing a cracking job of finishing the remaining items. I have bought a couple of things for them to give to each other - I know they wouldn't bother, but Ciaran came down the garden today to give me his present for me because "he knows that "Ooops, word censored!"ody else will get one for him to give me" (typical in this house - "Ooops, word censored!"ody has a clue). Unwrapped, but I was so delighted that he'd bothered to think about me. So I have 2 keyrings. They are torches and one is a duck and the other is a cow (I smacked him for continuing with my brother's trend). When you press the torch button they quack and moo at the same time!

Back from the farrrrrrrrrrrm. Brrrrrrrrr

We were freezing all day!

So ... we got some turkey feed bags, filled with straw and toddled off up the hill and went sledging  Was actually good, if not a bit bumpy at the frozen sheep poo

We were soaked with snow at the end of it so went back down and sold a few more turkeys :)

In the warm now, and mothers in a mood with me because she opened my post ... how does this work

Women eh?

*runs and hides*

Chichi woke up at 6 and went to tesco to beat the crowds...he's peculiar that one

Aha....I can roller/ice skate 8)

I just can't stop

Roller skating I hit gates, ice skating I hit people.

Mother's calendar arrived today :D

It is rather lovely and is currently hiding in my cupboard.

The only thing I have left to do is make the sibling a card....then I can relax

Hope you've all had a good tuesday. x
