Morning all just dragged myself out of bed and no I wasn't drunk/don't have a hangover because I was the driver yesterday I think it's because the children were up at 5.30am and we didn't get to bed until 12.30

Was a good day Some cousins came as well and bought his little girl, so there were 2 little ones, and we just sat around talking and playing wii ... not forgetting the eating

We had MIL But I managed to clean out the cube and escape. Then FIL drove Ciaran and I to Basingstoke - I'm navigating because Ciaran was going to see his new GF so we went to the bus station to drop him off. That worked well - FIL is nice so we had a jolly chat. Then they watched Dodgeball while I came on here. So I think I suffered her for about 2 hours in total. Not bad evasion by my count! She was overtly gushy though, which meant that she was playing up for the day. I don't know - one extreme to the other.

Hello all Glad you all had a good christmas, we didn't get back from my parents till late last night. I have eatern and drunk far too much. We had a fantastic christmas day, there were 8 of us all together and we spent the majority of the day eating, drinking and opening presents. In the evening 6 of us played Trivial Pursuits, girls against boys, it was a close call but us girls won Yesterday, we had a late lunch at my parents and some friends of theirs who run the local pub joined us, we then all played wii sports and Tiger Woods golf.

We always play trivial pursuit on new year's eve...we all play individually so it's just the four of us, but it takes us forever

Cube run all beautifully clean. I did find one huge hole slap bang in the middle where they had a dirt bath - and very clean it looked too. Apache whinged or squeaked for most of the time - guess she wanted to lay an egg. By the time I had finished it was 3 and still light. So I gave them their tea - which turned out to be quite the Benny Hill Show. Patch was in the nest box by that time so wasn't a problem. Squirt went into the run, Sioux and Tipsy held back. Eventually Sioux went in which left Tipsy thwarting every move to get her in. Then both the other girls escaped and I had to chase them back in. Sioux and Tipsy then were the culprits. Eventually Sioux went back in. Tipsy still misbehaved finally my rotten husband who had been enjoying the show from our bedroom window came out to help. Nope, she still went all over the place. Finally I suggested cornering her in the netting and whahey head stuck through, enabling me to grab the rear end. Finally in the cube - and she went straight to bed! The only one not in bed was Squirt. Since then there has been plenty of bokking - Tipsy - because Apache wanted to have some tea after laying her egg. Last night it was dark before Tipsy went to bed - today it's still light and they've hunkered down. Arghhhhh!!

To be fair Karma was at work here - Murray helped with the new bale of aubiose and he was carrying it backwards when his slipper came off and he trod in the dirt and fell in the bushes. Did I laugh? You betcha I did. Then just as we got to the cube his other one came off and he was in squelchy mud! Ho hum.

Eglu now ready for lift off - not much of a shade though, so I have used some aubiose bags for some bits, corrugated plastic for another bit and some green plastic. At least they should be nice and sheltered.

Postcard from Vegas. Having a fab time. Won $45 dollars on a slot machine that I only played cause it had a chicken on it. I only played 1 cent!!!!
