Recommended Posts

I know :mrgreen:

... I think ... do I? :lol:

Morning by the way :wink:

Was up really early today! Dropped by brother off at New St (he's going to London) then went shopping :) Got a few preowned Wii games (bargain) and some headphones for my ipod because my old ones are broken ... I'm not v impressed :lol: They're meant to be the gumy 'comfortable'ones, but they're not comfy at all :roll::lol:

Just had a driving lesson and now some friends are over :)

:shock: Is the photo relevant to the hitchhikers?

Good thing Esther wasn't looking over my shoulder, she'd love one of those (& so would I) but won't be having one.

Sorry Koojie & Cookie, I had to leave the room for the pillow fight, I can't bear them, such a wimp!

OK I give in. Actually this is the second time I have tried to post - but the last one disappeared and I had to go out to check if mum's drippy bit was still dripping. Luckily it wasn't - yet.

So . . . we have adopted some of Egg Lou's babies because she is moving and won't be able to take everyone with her. So the Eggy Babes consist of the pekins that I saw hatching last year and her liddle black silkie. Unfortunately the silkie's name is also Squirt, so we have decided to call her Kitty because that's the nearest we'll ever get to owning a cat with Murray around.

He's already had me going this evening. He came in clutching a bundle of black fur and said "look what I found running around outside?" I jumped out of the chair saying "how the heck did she get out?" while thinking - where are the others????!!! I picked the fur ball out of his hands and realised it was Erin's furry black cat hat! The so and so - tamed down for the innocent people on this thread! :lol:

Oh the likkle doggie was for you Cookie. :D

:dance::dance::dance:

Erin couldn't sleep last night - then when Eggy texted you should have seen her shoot upstairs to get dressed! :lol:

Poor Eggy had been sorting out the horses all morning - she hadn't even had brekkers - then she was about to go back again. All this weather = lots of mucking out and exercising, plus poor Oscar broke his leg months ago and is having physio now. It's all happening at Eggy's place.

So we came back in time to get our mob in for tea and shut in the run while we popped the newbies in the Eglu. Then we opened the doors and out came the pekins who found the scattered corn - then when it looked safe, out came the silkie. They were all happily routing around the run - lots of leaves to look underneath with goodies. Both teams are now aware of each other - cue Apache squeaking, but they'd all gone to bed when we went down to close them up. Out popped Skye and chatted for a minute, but she went back in and door closed. All tucked up in the back and there looks like enough room for a couple more - NOOOOOOOO!

That's what they want you to think scrambley. They don't eat much, just some warm milk from time to time although Torquil is partial to Turkish Delight but only as a treat. He is housetrained and requires minimal exercise. A drag around the living room is quite sufficient and he loves haggis, his best friend was a haggis but he emigrated to South Africa many years ago. In fact, I don't think Torquil has quite got over it. :cry:

If you would consider squeezing him in to your loving menagerie, he and I would be eternally grateful. :D
