Does anybody feel ..... Part # 12

Recommended Posts

Hi you guys. Now for a ramble for Scramble:

Well we have had a very stressful morning, ending with me chasing a very noisy Squirt all round the garden. Apache also added her harmonious whine - and the banteenies doing their seagull impersonations (and another bantie egg). I think Squirt wanted the nest box, so did Apache, so I shoved them both in together - that worked for silencing them, and Apache didn't lay an egg anyway, so she was just being a pest. Later on Apache sneaked in the Babes run and pounced on one while on Murray's watch. The banteenies ran into their eglu run and I herded Apache out. Half an hour later and she and Skye are squaring up again. It's Skye always starting it - she pecks and bounces up high (bit like watching those toys on springs boingyboingyboooiiinnnggg) while Patch just fluffs up and stretches her head up higher. She pecks back. So although I didn't want to, both had the water pistol treatment. Been fine ever since.

For a special treat I opened up the bantie run so they could range for a short while before bed. I was always concerned that the silkie would be the one targeted for bullying. Not so, there she was in the middle of the big girls happily all munching together. Tipsy noticed and did a double take and a big step backwards "Whoa Nellie - What's That?!!" But they all wandered off happily together. The pekins stayed as a group. Big girls went up top, but although Kitty tried to hop up the wall, she gave up and went back to her friends - they all wandered around the bottom of the garden. Next the big girls had tea and were shut in the cube run and eventually the little ones went in theirs. I am quite cold after standing on guard with a drippy water pistol - frosty foots and frosty fingies. Ah the delights of integration. Although one down 3 to go.

Take care when clicking on links on Facebook - Erin was dishing out spam unawares - it logged onto her mail - luckily it seems to have been trounced by the security system once she started wailing (indoor whining and outdoor today  ) - although she has lost a fair few friends due to the spam. Amazingly Ciaran had a go at a few people who were a bit abusive towards her. He is her hero again.
